Prosthodontics

Fixed Prostheses

They are prostheses that are applied in partial tooth defects or loss of advanced material on a single tooth. The patient completes his or her teeth, leading to impaired vision in terms of dysesthesia, speech and aesthetics. It is aimed that these types of prostheses have resistance to the patient's chewing strength and aesthetically similar to other tooth structures.

The removal of missing teeth disrupts oral and dental health. Each tooth is designed to complement one another. When one tooth is lost, the other teeth move or bend over time towards the gap that the missing tooth creates. The tooth on the countertop extends beyond the gap. These unusual tooth movements lead to tensions in both the tooth and the gum. In addition to all these, damage to the gums and bone tissues occurs. Normal - because natural tooth contact is impaired, and therefore physiological cleaning is also inhibited, the teeth become prone to decay.

Support for dental defects is supported by neighboring teeth or dental implants.

Single Crowns

It is the name given to the coating applied to reestablish, consolidate, restore the aesthetics of damaged, broken, thinned or discolored teeth that do not look good in terms of aesthetics. Kurons are obtained from metal-supported porcelain or full ceramics (zirconium, empress), measured after dental shrinkage. The duration of treatment is approximately 3 seanstars (1 week).

Tooth Supported Fixed Prosthetics (Bridge)

Neighboring teeth are frequently used in eliminating tooth deficiencies. For this purpose, it is necessary to reduce the size of the adjacent adjacent teeth. The artificial tooth, which will fill the gap, is attached to the prepared threads on the natural tooth. Following the shrinking process, bridges are obtained from metal-supported porcelain or full ceramics, measured orally. Compliance, aesthetics, height, etc. after the controls are made to stick to the teeth and remain fixed in the mouth. Application of supine bridges in our clinic 4 seantars (10 days).

Implant Supported Fixed Prostheses

The construction of surplus bridge prostheses is a short, easy and economical solution, but requires the adjacent teeth to be minimized. In the implant treatment, the treatment is completed without any treatment in the adjacent teeth. Although the construction takes longer, the treatment lasts longer and the health of the neighboring teeth and gums is not affected. Implant prostheses provide excellent aesthetic results when used with zirconium connectors and sub-structures.

Implant fixed prostheses can also be performed in a large number of missing teeth that require the use of a movable prosthesis, or even in a complete toothless condition. In our clinic, the necessity of using removable dentures, where the chewing function of the patient is decreased and restraint and aesthetic problems can be seen with the planning of the oral and radiographic examinations, is coming up.

Movable Prostheses

Partial (Partial / Modern) Prostheses

It is a prosthesis made up of a large number of teeth missing and where fixed prostheses can not be made. These prostheses, which can be inserted and removed by the patient, support speech and chewing functions by supporting from the teeth and the soft tissue in the toothless space. Although these prostheses are described as moving prosthesis, the restraint in the correct prosthesis is quite good. The main structure of the prosthesis is metal and thin. This facilitates the use of the patient by maximizing compliance. The support from the teeth is through the hooks on the prosthesis. For this reason, it may be difficult to provide esthetics in cases where support from the anterior teeth is required. The treatment duration is about 6 seanstars (2 weeks).

Precision Fixed Prostheses

In precision prostheses, the crochet system used to support the teeth in modern prostheses is gone. Since the connection is retained within the prosthesis, the front tooth support is provided with aesthetic ease. At the same time, because of the higher retention of delicate connections than modern prostheses, the movement in the prosthesis is negligible. It takes less time for the patient to get used to the prosthesis.

In denture prostheses with a precision connection, since the joint remains in the prosthesis, the teeth to be supported must be covered in order to provide the connection. The treatment period is about 3 weeks. For more information you can contact our clinic.

Total (Full) Prostheses

It is the prosthesis made in the case where there are no teeth in the bottom / upper cane or both. As only the remaining soft tissue is supported, it does not provide the comfort of functions such as chewing and speech in fixed prostheses. However, a complete denture made with correct measurements and records will function quite well. Especially the success of the top canopy is quite high. Once the prosthesis is attached, it becomes easy to use the patient's prosthesis with the adaptation of the mucosa under the tongue, lip, cheek and prosthesis over time. The production process of complete dentures is approximately 5 seans and 5-6 days is enough for zooming. It is normal for these types of prosthesis to have bumps in the adaptation process because only soft tissue is supported. For this reason, we have control sessions after prosthesis insertion. Implantable Removable Prosthesis Implantable removable prosthesis is a very good alternative to total prosthesis that we use in cases of complete toothiness. These full prostheses, which are supported by implants placed with a plan for the upper and lower jaws, can provide a high degree of retention and can significantly reduce the volume of the upper cannulated prosthesis. The necessity of advancing to the palate of the prosthesis is lifted. With intentional planning, mobility can be reset with 4 implants placed in the upper jaw and 2-4 implanted in the lower jaw and different retainer types. It takes a very short time for the patient to get used to chewing, chewing and talking. Hard foods that are very difficult to chew with full dentures become consumable now. As the upper part of the cane is also opened, the taste of the food is increased. You can contact our clinic for retaining types, specifications and construction process.
